Burgas, district Meden Rudnik, the monastery localizes 2 km to the north from the neighbourhood.

A local legend says that an old medieval monastery dedicated to St. George existed here. The monastery was burned in the 17th - 18th century. In the 90s of the twentieth century a new monastery was built at the place with donations from citizens.
Today the new monastery is an acting nunnery at the consecrate place revered by locals as the old "spring" - a sacred spring. Besides the central temple and the monastery building over the years 7 further chapels have been built with citizens'' donations.

Visit the chapels and drink from the sacred springs gushing in each of them; meet the abbess in the main church St.Mary.
